In short
- Your account is an email address. No password, no name, no phone number.
- Your own videos never leave your computer: the desktop app transcribes them on it.
- When you ask the AI tutor about a word or a line, the text of that line is sent to our server and to OpenAI to write the answer - not your account.
- No advertising, no tracking, no analytics, no cookies on this website. We never sell your data.
- You can delete your account at any time, in the app.
1. Who is responsible
LudicoAI is an app for learning English with films and series: the Windows desktop app, the Android app, this website and the LudicoAI server they use. The data controller is the publisher of LudicoAI identified in the legal notice. For any question about your data: support@ludicoai.com.
2. What we process, why, and for how long

We never see your card details: payments are handled by the payment platforms below.
3. What stays on your device
Your video files and their transcripts, the words and moments you save (My Learnings) and your settings stay on your device. The desktop app transcribes your videos on your computer with open-source speech recognition: neither the video nor its transcript is sent to us. Only when you use an AI feature on a line is the text of that line sent, as described above.

OpenAI states that it does not use data sent through its API to train its models. Transfers outside the European Union rely on an adequacy decision (United Kingdom), the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. What we don't do
No advertising, no selling or renting of data, no profiling, no decision with legal effects made automatically about you. No analytics or tracking tools in the apps or on this website, and this website sets no cookies. The Android app includes RevenueCat's code, used only for purchases.
6. Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, delete it, have it sent to you in a portable format, restrict its use or object to it. To delete your account: in the app, Learn → Your account → Delete my account, or see this page. For anything else, write to support@ludicoai.com from your account's address: we answer within one month. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or to the authority of your country.
7. Age
You must be at least 15 to create an account. Under 18, ask a parent before buying Premium.
8. Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Sessions are encrypted on Windows, database access is restricted row by row, the keys to our providers stay on our server, and we keep as little data as we can.
9. Changes
We will update this page and its date when our practices change, and announce significant changes in the app.
